Congratulations Bonnie!

Yes I am a Canon girl! Good work Bonnie!

Thanks for all that have participated. It has been fun! Stay tuned tomorrow for the winner of the Gift Certificate!

Amy's Favorite Thing #9

Here it is! The last trivia question. Today's prize is a $20 gift certificate to Schiller's Camera & Video - my favorite camera store. These people are wonderful. They really know their stuff and they are extremely helpful. Of course they have cameras and equipment, but they also have frames and albums and other photo accessories.

Today's question is: What brand of camera do I use?

Good luck!

Oh, by the way, I am in the process of changing my colors and therefore the look of my website a bit. Soon there will be new pictures in all of the galleries.

Congratulations Jenn!

You got it! Yes, the Grinch's heart was 2 sizes too small.

Enjoy your sandwiches!

Tomorrow is the last trivia question. On Friday I will draw for the $500 Speed of Life gift certificate! If you haven't already, subscribe to this blog so you can be entered into the drawing.

Amy's Favorite Thing #8

Today's prize is truly one of my very favorite things in the whole world. Mom's Deli. I expect that many people have never heard of it and I feel it is my duty to spread the good word. Mom's Deli is a little deli in St. Louis - it is quite near Ted Drewes. I highly recommend the Mom's Sandwich or the Dad's Hot with Gravy. I am sure they have other good things there, but I just cannot bring myself to venture away from these two delicious sandwiches. So, the prize is a $20 gift certificate. They do have tables outside, but it is really just a take and go kind of place.

The question today is: Why was the Grinch so mean?

Good luck!

Congratulations Adena!

Good work! You are correct. Oobi is a hand puppet on Noggin.

Enjoy your coffee mug!

Helen's Dance Recital

So I just have to post this. Helen had her dance recital last night. She is 3 and this was her very first one. She has always marched to the beat of her own drum and believes that everything is better with a few extra twirls. She actually knows every single step to both of the dances. I think the presence of an audience just made it necessary for her to abandon all set choreography and get her groove thang on.

Amy's Favorite Thing #7

One of my very favorite things is to listen to the Manic Mommies podcast. I frequently listen to it on my laptop while I am working. They are moms with young children - both work, one at home and they are very funny. It is like listening to my own life, but funnier. You can find them here Manic Mommies On the left hand side there is a link on How to Listen. I am fairly new to podcasts so it took me a bit to figure it out, but it is well worth it. If you end up checking them out and like it, let me know!

So the prize for today is a Manic Mommy giant coffee mug (coffee is also very important to me!)

Here is the question: Who is Oobi?

Good luck!

Congratulations Quinn!

Good work, even down to the neighborhood! Yes, I did grow up in South St. Louis City. Enjoy your Schlafly gift certificate!

Amy's Favorite Thing #6

Today's prize is a $20 gift certificate to Schlafly. You can use this at Schlafly Tap Room or at Schlafly Bottle Works. You can also use it at the gift shop to buy specialty beers. My current favorite is their new #15. Yum!

The question for today is: Where did I grow up?

Good luck!
