Bring a smile to Dad's face this Father's Day! On Sunday May 6th Speed of Life Photography will join with Mary Kay Consultant Esther Palma to give moms and kids a day of pampering and fun. While the kids play mom will receive a complimentary Mary Kay Color Make Over. Then Speed of Life Photography will photograph Mom and the kids for the perfect Father's Day gift - portraits of Dad's favorite people!

A Limited Edition 5x10 Father's Day collage with display easel will be available for $75.

Marathon Man

Yesterday my husband completed the Spirit of St. Louis Marathon. This was his first marathon and he finished in 4 hours 20 minutes. He had a great start and then started to experience leg cramps at about mile 18. Bill had family and friends all along the route to cheer him on. It was a great day and we are so very proud of him!

The runners start. There were a little over 10,000 participants - 2200 in the marathon.

A Day in the Life of Becky B!

   

My daughter S. likes to eat her breakfast in front of the television. RIGHT in front of the television.

We got dressed and ready to go to playgroup. S. is so proud of her new purse.

We went to playgoup for E. 3rd birthday party celebration. The weather was nice, so we enjoyed playing outside.

There were some gorgeous flowers in the yard at playgroup!

Later in the day, we went to story time at the Belleville, West branch Library. Here is S. with our favorite librarian, Miss B.

At storytime, the kids got to color.

You know its a good day when you hear "The Ramones" on the radio!

I finished the day by going to a friends surprize 30th birthday party at Zapata's mexican resteraunt. mmmm, peach margarita!

Jewelry

I am very excited about the new line of jewelry I am carrying. Julie, the jewelry designer, and I have been working together to come up with beautiful and unique pieces. Each bracelet will be different. The photos in the charms can be switched out so that after every session with me you get to pick your favorite images to go in the charms. The bracelets are a perfect combination of style and versatility. You can wear them with jeans or dress them up.

Saturday

Wow a whole week of pictures. There was a lot of stuff that might not be the kind of thing you usually find on a photographer's blog. However, I am so glad that I did this - both taking the pictures and posting them. It was fun to document some of the things that go on in Helen's daily life. It was also fun to share my snapshots - not something I normally do.

I have received a few sets of photos from my blog subscribers to share. I will do that next week. If you would like to share a day in your life here please do! We would love to see it.

Here are the shots from today. We spent the day coloring eggs and having our Easter celebration at my mom's house.

Friday

I forgot to post these yesterday. I wasn't sure I was going to have any pictures from yesterday as I spent most of the day cleaning. However, a princess, hula boy and a fairy sat down for lunch in my kitchen. Too cute to pass up.

You gotta love pigtails and fairy wings.

Thursday

Helen got to go to a birthday party today. She had a great time and most of my images from today are from the party. The first picture however is a shot of Helen and her Uncle John. He is a police officer in St. Louis. She thinks that it is pretty neat that he catches and puts bad guys in cages.
