I have been having a bit of an email glitch - a few clients have told me they have sent an email and I have not received it. YIKES! I have been very excited about this session since Baby F's mom called me to schedule. 2 1/2 years ago I photographed F's big brother C as a newborn. In fact C was one of my very first newborn sessions. It was so fun to see how big C has gotten and what a great big brother he is! Baby F is just as sweet as he can be. Thank you to the W family for inviting me to be part of this special time!
Every once in a while I will set my alarm for some rediculous pre-dawn hour. In the past it has been to travel (usually motorcycle related). But, this morning I decided to get up and photograph the lunar eclipse. My street is barely lit and my driveway proved to be a good spot to watch. Unfortunately I missed the total eclipse by about 3 minutes. At that point the moon was behind the house across the street and I thought it might be rude to go creeping around their yard in the dark.
So, here it is - the moon from my driveway from 4:56 am to 5:34 am. (click to see it larger)

Yes it is that time of year...time to schedule holiday portraits!
Holiday Mini Sessions $250 (current clients) $300 (new clients)
These sessions will be 30 minutes long and we will focus on a specific type of portrait (the whole family, just the kids, individual child portraits) and if time allows do other shots as well. I will show 8-10 images in an online gallery. The sessions include 50 press-printed holiday greeting cards with envelopes, 5 gift portraits (8x10 and smaller), 10% off all portraits. The cards are custom designed and your design will only be available to you.
You are welcome to make one set of changes to the cards that I design. Additional changes are $20 per set of changes.
Sessions are from 3pm to 6pm
Saturday September 29th in Rock Springs Park, O'Fallon IL
Saturday October 13th in Francis Park, St. Louis, MO

This sweet little guy is one of quite a few newborns that I have over the next couple of months. He was a natural - he gave me a great big long yawn shortly after we started. I really enjoyed meeting his mom, dad and grandma. Every single one of them is madly in love with this handsome man.
These kiddos and their parents were serious troopers. We started our outdoor session an hour early in an attempt to be finished before the temperature turned to triple digits. They all did a fabulous job. The kids were a lot of fun. Enjoy!

I have been photographing J. since...well, since before she was born! Earlier this week we got together again for some family photographs to celebrate her 1st birthday. Her dad D. just came home from Iraq and obviously is enjoying every second with his sweet daughter.
