Tea Party

This sweet little girl hosted a tea party while I was visiting. So cute! I love the shots I got with her and her mom. It is clear that they truly enjoy each other!

Happy Holidays (and a few important notes)

Happy Holidays to you and your family! I hope that this season brings you much happiness and a chance to sit back and relax.

My office will be closed until January 2nd. I will still be answering emails and phone calls, it just may take me a couple of days to get to you. I plan to use this time to relax a bit myself, as well as get caught up a bit and ready for 2008.

Speaking of 2008, I will be changing my pricing a bit and revamping some things for 2008. As always, sessions that are currently scheduled for 2008 will still fall under the 2007 pricing. You can still get the 2007 pricing as well until January 12th. Starting January 13th all newly scheduled sessions will fall under the 2008 pricing.

And last, but not least, I am pregnant and due in June! I will be going on maternity leave May 1st and will return August 1st. I will not be shooting during this time, although will probably spend much of May finishing up ordering with my April clients. That said, I am currently scheduling in February for weekday sessions and March for weekend sessions. So, if you are thinking about doing a session in the early spring - call me soon!

Sweet, sweet baby...

My husband and I have known this couple for years. We used to ride our motorcycles with the dad quite a bit - in fact, he was present (and an enormous help) when I had my first street motorcycle accident. We were so excited when we found out they were expecting. What a sweet little one baby A is! Because dad is a motorcycle racer we just had to include his jacket and helmet in some of the shots too.

Holiday Orders

To all of my clients waiting for their holiday orders... It looks like everything will be delivered to me by the end of this week. I will be working hard all weekend to sort and package everything. You should hear from me the beginning of next week to set up a time for me to deliver or to let you know they are shipping out.

Brothers

This is my second time photographing the older two brothers and my first time meeting the baby. We got to go play at their lake and it was a lot of fun. The older boys showed me around and gave me good lessons on how to throw rocks into the water.

I just love the golden light in the outdoor shots. It was a beautiful day!

I just loved this little guy!

This little guy had a lot to share with me. We had a great time playing outside and then he showed me all around his room - including all of his favorite toys. B Family I hope you enjoy them!

Some of my all time favorite sibling shots came from this session. These two were just as cute as can be together.

Silver Creek Mill

Come on out for the Grand Opening of Silver Creek Mill in Mascoutah on Saturday from 10-5. You will find locally-made art and folk crafts, lots of tasty German food, live music, a kids craft workshop, Alpacca Patty and Her Purbred Alpacas, a sewing demonstration and a Make-A-Gift Jewelry Demo by Jennifer Dix from 1-3.

Oh yeah, and you can view and purchase my art prints - they make great gifts!

Silver Creek Mill is operated by Trinity Services, a 501(c) (3) organization. All proceeds benefit people with developmental disabilities in Southwest Illinois.
